Eric S Chicago , IL October 12, 2025 Appliance: Model BOSCH SHX68T55UC/01 Bosch e15 error code and pump noise for bosch shx68t55uc/01 dishwasher I looked up the potential causes and pulled the dishwasher out and saw that there was a small amount of water in the very bottom, which was causing the float switch to run the pump. When I looked in there for a bit, I saw a very slow drip occurring from the area of the intake valve in the back. I watched some videos on line and saw a very useful one from appliancepartspros and figured I might as well throw them by business so I shut down the power to the dishwasher and turned off the water and replaced the intake. A little bit of a pain to work around the hoses but the actual swap was pretty easy. The trickiest part was removing the internal rubber hoses from the intake and the other water thing it was connected to. The hose clamps were a little annoying but the hardest part was actually pulling the hoses off, they don't cover that in the video really. You kinda have to get a flathead screwdriver under the lip of the hose end and kinda get in there and lever it off a bit while pulling the hose. It comes off relatively easy, just be sure not to damage the hose because I didn't see a replacement on the site. The actual replacement was straight forward. The trickiest part was really maneuvering the dishwasher itself and reaching behind it, since I didn't have great clearance. I also ordered and installed the door sealing gasket because I figured why not. It was incredibly easy to install and that's one less thing I have to worry about. Read More... Robert M Hamden , CT August 22, 2025 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHX68TL5UC/02 E15 watertap Replaced inlet valve. Took a while to diagnose, I could see water in the base after the cycles were complete, it would be present in the center of the base. What I couldn't see was the water that dripped into a channel directly under the water inlet valve. When the water under the valve channel reached a certain level, it would flow into the center of the base. The video for the replacement of the valve was great and made the repair easy. Read More... Rex C Creve Coeur , MO August 16, 2025 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHP65TL2UC/07 Bosch dishwasher e17 code My Bosch dishwasher was shutting off after about 3 minutes, with an E17 error code. Bosch says E17 means not enough water in the tub, and to check the supply hose for kinks. The internet had all kinds of conflicting answers. Appliance Parts Pros told me (correctly) that E17 means TOO MUCH water, and to check the water inlet valve, or possibly the power control module. Appliance Parts Pros was right. With the help of an insulation-piercing probe (cost $9) for my voltmeter, I found that the valve was sticking in the open position. I could see the water flowing through the big plastic water inlet, but it kept flowing for about half a minute too long, after the voltage to the valve was shut off. Without the voltmeter I was fooled because I could feel the valve shutting off, but I didn't know it was shutting off too late. Replacing the valve was a cheap and easy repair. The videos make it easy to replace almost any part. Thank you, Appliance Parts Pros! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
