How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP7193108 / 10023852 Water Inlet Valve

Replace water supply valve on dishwasher 

Ordered replacement valve and followed online video instructions. 

Watched the video twice that brought me here. Everything went very very smoothly. Shut off the power at the breaker, thankfully the power cable was long enough for slack because it was hot wired to a sealed box. Unscrewed the mounting brackets, disconnected the hoses from under the sink, then slid the beast out from the counter space. When watching the video I wondered why he started by disconnecting the hose from the side first, but it was pretty obvious once I saw how little slack there was. My model had the plastic mounting bracket clip in sideways rather than vertically, but otherwise identical process. Hardest part was disconnecting the wires, mostly because I was on the wet floor with poor angles and a sore back, but watched the vid again and then got it easily. Part went in smoothly, everything went back ok, and no more error codes/wet floor. 

Purchased water inlet from Amazon as it would arrive next day. Installed and then E15 code popped up. Thought it was another issue, tried multiple items. Decided possible defective part. Ordered same part from AppliancePros, installed and worked immediately. Will only order from AppliancePros in future. 

Replaced leaking water inlet valve 

I replaced the water inlet control valve as the old one was dripping. I found it helpful to use a hair dryer to soften the water supply line to the valve. 

Replace water inlet valve 

Saw a drip from water valve. Replaced the valve and also replaced the upper rack spinner as it would fall off sometimes.. 

I ordered the valve by model #. We replaced valve with a new one and now no leaks. 

I had to move the entire dishwasher out open the back and remove the valve and tubing. The tubing was also cracked. When I replaced the valve that I bought from AppliancePartsPros.com for my dishwasher, I found that the electrical connector did not fit. It was a different connector altogether. But this was the part that was specified for my model. I wanted to call to replace it, but everything was apart. So I had to McGyver the connection. I pried the old connector from the original valve and adapted it onto the new valve. And that worked.
