John W Napa , CA April 10, 2023 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FGHD2433KF1 Door springs stretched/broken & bottom gasket hardened and out of place. 1. Detached dishwasher from underside of cabinet. 2. Pulled out dishwasher for easy access to door springs. 3. Removed stretched/broken door spring and replace with new springs from APP. 4. Removed door's stainless steel front cover. 5. Pushed in bottom gasket and closed door to check for proper gasket placement. 6. Replaced and secured door's stainless steel cover. 7. Pushed dishwasher beneath cabinet and secured it to the bottom of counter top. It was a very simple and straightforward repair, but I watched the video on replacing the bottom gasket. From it I learned to take off the door's stainless steel cover to check for proper gasket installation. There are always good tips in the APP videos. Read More...
