Heather P Marstons Mills , MA May 17, 2021 Appliance: Model JPB66 Element replacement Success! Ordering the part with Ken was super easy, unfortunately, FedEx dropped my package at a random address and instead of retrieving the item, they said, “call the shipper and have them send another.” Okay, not fair to the shipper. I called and another part was shipped to my daughters house, however, it was not the correct part. Upon calling Appliance Parts Pros customer service to send the part back, I was able to find the actual part number I needed, ordered it and it arrived at my daughters address. The element was installed and we have resumed baking again after a couple weeks! Thanks to ALL the customer service people who helped me throughout this entirely confusing and slightly stressful situation. Read More... Kenneth S Lost Creek , WV August 19, 2016 Broiler element was burnt out Disconnect range from power supply. Removed oven door for ease of replacing elements, (door slides off hinges) Remove screws that attach element to oven, (4 on the broil element and 2 on the bake element) Pull element toward the front of oven to expose wiring. disconnect wires and disguard old element. replace new element in reverse steps. I decided to replace both the broil and bake element's due to the age of the range and also due to fact that the oven gets used every day. The only tool i used was a nut driver and i believe it was a 1/4". I recoment replacing both elements at the same time due to the older the elements get's, the less efficient they become, and also through my experience if you dont you will be in a short time later.
