How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031028 / WB44X195 Bake Element

The part arrived on time via mail. The part was an exact match! Simple repair/replace was easy. 

Replaced with a new bake element AP2031028. 

Removed old element and replaced it with new one. Oven is 40 years old and in extremely good condition.

Replaced oven baking heating element. 

After consulting with one of your representatives via a chat session to ensure I had selected the correct replacement part, I placed the order, and it was delivered within a couple of days. I arranged a time with my elderly neighbor to do the replacement. This old stove was her only baking capability on this mid-70s vintage range, so she was dead in the water until the oven was repaired. I took the part over to her home, turned off the power to the stove, and within 10 minutes the old heating element was removed and replaced, and this old oven was working like a champ.

I recently replaced the baking element in the upper oven of my old GE Electric Range. The Range is approximately 40 years old and I was skeptical on whether I would be able to find a replacement. I really like this appliance and wanted to get it fixed. I went on-line and Appliance Parts Pros had an upper oven baking element available. I watched their video prior to installation and it was very informative. I received the element about 6 days later and within 20 minutes I had the old one removed and replaced with the new. I’m very very happy to keep this appliance working!
