How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2058495 / WR2X4901 Refrigerator Door Cam Riser

Ordered hinge replacement/received it pronto/door actually fell off/parts were exactly what I needed 

Ordered plastic part on bottom of door 

I ordered the recommended replacement door cam. Installation was smooth. 

Cam riser and shim 

I watched the video appliancepartspros.com supplied. 

My nephew blocked the door to level, removing the door stop, putting in the cam riser and replacing the stop. Just needed the parts and someone to fix it.... thank you! 

The cam risers had failed. Both the upper (door) side as well as the hinge side had failed. Was necessary to replace both. Very easy repair, it was necessary to drill out a rivet on the hinge plate and screw in the replacement. 

I called and speak to one of your staff, she ask for model No, was not clear as the fridge is old, but this helpful person sort it out for me. She told me what I need. I ordered the part and oh' how grateful I am. I got some he took the door off apply the part and thot was it. I got back my fridge. Ordered new water fill valve, took about ten minutes to replace and ice maker back to new! Very happy with AppliancePartsPros 

Replaced cam riser. Simple fix. Did not even have to remove door. Hardest part is drilling out rivet on old part. Be sure to check top and bottom risers for wear. You will probably need both. The shipping on this item is as much as the part. I was very dissappointed with that because i know it couldn't cost that much but what are you going do.
