I looked online for an appliance repair business that sold parts for my dryer. I found Appliance parts pros and decided to call them. I initially tried the Hot Point site and they had the same part for an unreal price of $43.00. I talked to the man at Appliance parts pros and he told me to try the one he had by model number. I ordered it and it came the next day. It fits and my problem was solved. Thanks for taking the time to explain what was happening and getting me the right part for the right price.
