How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7216307 / WD21X33639 Timer (Dishwasher)

Replaced door switch and timer 

Installed new timer after inspection and cleaning of float/overfill unit, though did not test that unit or the fill valve electrically because of satisfactory operation on subsequent cycles, yet. 

Disassembled and checked impeller and found that it was in very bad shape so i ordered another, then discovered that helped but didnt fix it totally and determined timer was working, it had went out and wasnt going through the whole cycle so i changed it . then found out that the coil had been left on and water valve had went out so i ordered a new one, works great now
