The knob was a bonus as the old one had a broken ‘socket’ which wouldn’t always grab and spin the post on the timer. The resistor was a just-in-case easy replacement that could also cause cycle timing issues. Works like a charm and the timer is smooth as silk rather than harsh and clunky like the old, broken one. This was a very easy repair. It simply required a Phillips screwdriver to pull off the top back portion of the dryer, remove the timer and replace it. Everything is well marked as far as where to put the wires, but I did take a picture with my phone for reference before I disconnected everything. Read More...
