Mariah R Panama City , FL April 24, 2015 My fiancée broke the knob and stud off the timer i needed to replace timer and knob I first received the quality parts in less than 2 days. It took me 5 minutes to change out the timer and 2 of the minutes were finding where my fiancée put the Phillips head screwdriver. Unplug dryer first, remove top three screws from back panel. Pull old timer up and out, have new timer in hand and transfer one wire at a time. Once all wires are transferred, snap the new timer in its place. Replace your three screws, put knob on timer. Plug in dryer and test. Once completed, cleanup your mess. You know the lint and missing sox from your fiancée on the side and in back of the dryer. It was easy and I'm a women. Peter A Dallas , OR December 16, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer EED5600G1WW The timer was sticking to the point where the knobs were stripping out I unscrewed the 3 Phillips screws on the back of the dryer controls housing, then it folds forward for access to each control switch. the old one popped out, and I swapped the wires using a needle nose pliers, one by one, from the old switch to the new switch. The part was an exact fit, and popped right back into the housing. I screwed the 3 screws back in, pushed on the new knob, and it looks and works like new ! Eric L Whittier , CA December 21, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Gas Dryer DWSR463GG5WW Dryer timer went out By using the schematics ordering the timer was very easy. My mistake was not ordering the knob and the spacer for the knob. I clicked on chat later in the evening even though I doubted anyone would come on. To my surprise I got an immediate response! They were able to cancel my first order and immediately take care of ordering the three parts through chat. Very easy and what should be done by other on line merchants. The parts came when promised and 10 minutes later my dryer was working again. Thanks for a well run organization.
