How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5961570 / W10775980 Control Panel

After chatting with your Customer Service people, I bought the Control Panel because the button covers had worn through and the User Interface board that actually contained the control buttons. I replaced both and the washer works great. The videos were helpful, but were not of the same model as mine, so I went slowly when taking the door apart. Replacing the 2 parts was very easy. 

Looked online for how to replace control board videos for Kitchenaid confirmed the parts order and followed the video instructions. Parts were a perfect match and with a few screws removed and a few clips to remove the boards and replace the the good board the entire fix took less than 15 minutes. 

You sold me the same part as the original, 

Replaced the Control Panel. 

I had a repair person come out and he quoted me $600.00 for the repair. I took the door apart and found it was just a broken door latch. I found the parts I needed by using my model number. It was easy, schematics were good. It took me 1/2 hour to install the parts and it works perfect again. Thanks pros!
