How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5228620 / AAA30793428 Washer Pedestal Adapter Bracket Kit

I ordered the accessory assembly for my current pedestal and it worked perfectly 

Bought direct fitments brackets to keep washer and dryer from falling off of the pedestal if loads are unbalanced. Such an easy fix/solution and very inexpensive to boot. Self-adhesive backing allows the brackets to hold firm along with the provided screws. Was a 5 minute job. 

The only difficult part of this was to actually place the washer on top of the LG WDP3W pedestal. Once that was done, sticking and screwing these brackets on was a pieces of cake. 

The old plates adhesive was stripped. I needed to replace them. Randomly found Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered the bracket set. Shipped same day and Bam problem solved for less than $12.00. Exceptional company delivery and product ?????????? 

I ordered the plates from AppliancePros.com. They arrived with new screws. Take the liner off the sticky part, stick that onto the washer and screw the plate into the holes on the platform. 

We actually, removed the legs on the washer and dryer and attached the pedestals using the brackets and screws that came with the pedestal. The adaptation kit that LG claimed was required was not needed. I found that out after I purchased them. 

Ordered the parts needed. 

We ordered the accessory Assembly that was needed to put on the side of the pedestal to hold the dryer in place. 

Just installed yesterday fits like a glove !!! 

We purchased new LG washer and dryer that could use the current pedestals. However the current accessory assemblies needed to be replaced. The kits provided were the exact replacement needed. Saved $500 by using the old pedestals. ??
