Because of the design of the plates holding my LG dryer on it's pedestal (screws on the pedestal and two face tape on the dryer end of the plates), I needed to order a set of replacement plates. The installation was straight forward for the most part. First I would bend back a small corner of the protective cover on the two face tape to make it easy to remove. Then I would attach the plate to the pedestal using the required 2 screws started in the associated holes, only starting the screws. Once the screws were in place, I removed the protective covering from the two face tape and tightened the screws. The only issue I had was when the dryer was replaced by the installers, they broke off one of the screws in the hole. i used a drill bit slightly smaller than the provided screws to drill a new hole in the plate and pedestal to attach it.
