How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5251356 / 6201EC1006T Noise Filter Assembly

ORDERED NEW FILTER ASSEMBLY, MAINTENANCE STAFF INSTALLED. 

Researched to find the problem could be a result of 1or 2 electrical components. Once the washer torn down, it was clear where the short occurred. Found the right replacement part number and ordered it with you folks. The rest was plug and play. 

I replaced the Noise FilterAssembly on the power cord. 

Lg lds4821ST dishwasher stopped working and had a burnt electronics/ fireworks smell. Main board looked good. Voltage only measured 70 volts at board instead of 120. Pulled out the dishwasher and saw that the electrical filter was badly burnt. I was surprised how bad it melted around the fuse. Ordered one here it arrived in 2 days and dishwasher was up in running again. 

Troubleshooting revealed the noise filter had failed due to overheating (fuse melted). Ordered new noise filter, new drain hose and new water pump. All parts were in stock and were exact replacements and fit perfectly. Parts arrived within 3 days of ordering. Overall outstanding service and results. Had the washer up and running in just over an hour. Videos are excellent as well and provide good source for training and the DIY repair. 

I ordered the parts and my father in law fixed it in about 20 minutes. It was a super easy fix. The parts came quickly and they were the correct parts thanks to the diagram to order from.

Replaced the Noise Filter Assembly. 

Found leakage from the tub bearings and seals. Suspected that their failure may have caused the noise filter assembly to blow its fuse. (prior post said that was the problem encountered when their panel lights wouldn't light. Replaced both bearings and seals.. The video was of tremendous value making light of the work. Happy with the parts, but if you need the washer back on line fast. i suspect express shipping would have helped. ( I didn't need) 3 of the 4 parts came US Post in seprate shipments.
