Jeremy M Concord , NC April 26, 2020 Dryer not heating Our 8 year old LG dryer didn't want to heat anymore. Looking on Appliance Parts Pros, I discovered similar issues, lots of solutions and helpful videos to support. Ordered most of the parts that dealt with the "heating" of the dryer and watched Matt's videos. Kudos to Matt. He does an excellent job teaching through the video. The production is done perfectly as well. I was able to take apart the dryer, replace four parts and put it back together in about an hour and a half. I could not have done it without the videos produced by Matt and AppliancePartsPros. Thank you. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Screwdrivers

Mark H Grafton , MA April 03, 2020 Appliance: Model LG DRYER No heat. I ordered five parts not knowing which part was the problem I just replaced all since I was taking dryer apart anyway. Replaced high temp thermostat, thermostat, thermistor, and both moisture sensors. Fairly smooth deconstruction after watching how to videos a couple times. Struggled a small bit with disconnecting some of the circuit plugs because they had never been disconnected before but overall not too hard. Kept things organized by using sticky notes with all the metal screws as I went through each piece of machinery removed. After removing all of the parts needed to get to circuits. The inside of unit had a lot of lint built up all over. Cleaning that up took the most time of all. I washed and dried all pieces that could be put in sink and vacuumed and wiped all of other pieces with a damp rag. Took at least 1.5 hours to clean everything well. Put all new circuits in and reassembled unit in about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Reattached exhaust tube and tested unit works great like new. Save huge money just took about 1/2 day to get it all done correctly. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 1-2 hours Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
Mark C Cameron , SC April 03, 2020 The dryer had no heat. Replaced the thermistor, both thermostats, and a moisture sensor. It was most likely the thermistor, but for less than $50 I replaced them all while in the unit. I ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros, and had them delivered the very next day even though I selected standard shipping. The videos were detailed and very easy to follow. The parts were a perfect fit. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
