My daughter was visiting from Ohio and suggested that I "google" the problem on line.
She copied the Make, and Part Number from the info on the door of the refrigerator.
Google led us to Appliance Parts Pros. which showed us the part itself was only a plug,
a nifty video showed a fellow instructing us exactly what to do, the part that we needed,
a picture of it, and how to order it. The cost of the part was $5.49 and with the shipping
the total price was $14.50. I ordered it on Dec. 26th. It arrived in my mailbox on Dec. 28th.
She followed the simple instructions using a flat-head screwdriver, and inserted the part,
closed the door and "voila", it has been working ever since....it is now Jan. 9th.
Her Christmas visit and this great website saved me at least $60.00. I am very impressed by this website and feel that it is a gift to us who are not "techies". Thank you very much.
