Remove and replace... Easy 

Watched the video on how to do the repair, ordered the parts and completed the repair. Very simple! 

I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros at 55% of the cost that my refrigerator service company quoted. The refrigerator service company wanted $150 of labor in addition to the parts charge. While the instructions that came with the product were hard to read, I reviewed videos online and replaced the icemaker in less than five minutes. Saved a ton of money. 

Replaced kit, reset multiple times, but still did not make ice. Wow, do I pursue mother board or pump? Not worth it as garage refrigerator makes ice.......Had an electrical storm the other morning and power went out for 10 minutes. After it was restored, I heard kit dump ice. A reset for the system?....Now working 

Pulled that sucker out, slipped the new one in...... And stopped buying ice. 

Easy fix with replacement icemaker. Took less than 10minutes and starting duping ice within a cole of hours.

I ordered the part and got it in two days. The video was very helpful and it hardly takes ten minutes to replace. One caution though. If the ice maker is not properly seated in the slots and anchored, when you install the ice tray, the ice maker may fall into the ice tray and it is impossible to remove either of them. Luckily I did not install the screw on the side panel so after I yanked it hard, the tray came out with the ice maker. After installing the ice maker, pull, push, shake to make sure it is properly seated in the slots before finishing the job.
