So I have a Samsung French Door, 4-Door refrigerator that is plagued with the evaporator coils freezing up with noise from the fan hitting the ice. This is a well-known problem affecting many people. This refrig is 7 years old. Aside from that, it works fine. I have taken it apart many time -- like 15 times -- over the past few years to melt the ice with a hair dryer. That lasts a month or two. I even have resorted to running 2-hours-worth of Forced Defrost cycles. Anyway, while I have bought appliance parts from a couple of other sites, I came across AppliancePartsPros. I love their YouTube videos, which were very useful. I paid a bit extra for expedited delivery and the parts showed up in a day or two. No idea if it will fix the problem, but I bought both the Defrost Thermostat and the Temperature Sensor. Replacing both parts took 5-10 minutes, though unloading food, removing the shelves and back panel, then reloading everything put the job at under an hour. Overall simple to replace. Time will tell if the problem returns. Anyway, AppliancePartsPros will be my preferred providing going forward.
