How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6015081 / WPW10111435 Door Bellow Seal

The video was super helpful and I ordered my parts directly from Appliance Parts Pros. Everything came in a few days and the video was incredibly helpful! My only suggestion is what another person commented about the drain holes. I made the repair in about 30 min, ran the machine and found out it wasn’t draining properly. The up arrow was where the drain holes were on the updated bellow seal I ordered. The video says to make sure that arrow is at the top but then the drain holes are up too and it won’t drain. **Make sure you find the drain holes and put them on the bottom!**. I had to take it all apart and do it again. Thankfully since I had done it once, the second time only took about 10 min. Overall, very helpful, detailed and easy to follow video though. Saved me several hundred dollars and LOTS of time on a repair person. Thank you! 

I ordered a new bellow seal and two new clamps and installed in about 30-45 minutes going along with the excellent video this website provides. Pretty straightforward job. The machine was leaking heavily from the internal seal heavily during the spin cycle. No tears in the bellow seal but it was heavily mildewed and dirty. All fixed!

I followed the instructions in the video supplied by AppliancePartsPros. The video was fantastic and very easy to follow. *If you’ve never taken apart a washer for this type of repair, watch the video! I had no problems. I cleaned everything associated with this repair. Everything around the door, the door itself, etc. I took some extra time to clean out the “coin catcher” while I had everything apart. This really wasn’t hard to do, just time consuming because it was the first time I have ever taken apart a washer. 

Watched the video and replaced the seal. FANTASTIC, very clear explanation about how to remove panels and the seal itself. Only problem is that they make it look easy to do various steps but I muddled through. Fantastic support and prompt delivery of parts. 

AppliancePartsPros made it easy to find my correct parts by simply typing in the model number. The information accompanying the door seal made me aware I would need two more parts (clamps) that was not obvious when looking at my existing door seal. A little more help from YouTube made this repair surprisingly easy and complete, saving money on a service call or two. 

I watched the video on your web site. It showed very clearly and exactly how to do each job. I can not say enough about how well the video showed actually how to complete each step. It was amazing.
