Paul M Simi Valley , CA February 28, 2026 Appliance: Whirlpool Side By Side Refrigerator GD25DQXFW01 The water line to the dispenser developed a pinhole leak at the base of the freezer door entry point I checked out several videos on the internet, and ordered the parts. On this particular model the water line must feed down from the dispenser to the opening at the base of the door. You will need to center the line using a small screw driver and manipulate the line through the opening. Also take care when removing the dispenser face plate. Use a putty knife or similar tool and pop up on the bottom edge of the faceplate to release the 2 small tabs. Read More... After taking off the cover I found the micro switch was working but the small plastic pins on the bracket were broken and the switch would get get contact with the lever.
