We removed everything from the fridge & put it in plastic bags outside in the snow bank. Thank GOD it was winter time. I removed the starter module from the compressor. When i shook it I could hear it rattled like the insides had disintegrated. Small blackish gray flecks were falling out of it and there were burn marks in the white plastic. Ordered this part paying extra for next day air. Part was ordered at 4:30 PM EST. Part arrived at 9 AM the next morning. The pictures on the directions are not so good. I had it reassembled within 10 minutes. We let it run for 10 hours before we put everything back in it. You would not believe the cheers in our house when the ice maker dropped its' first batch into the tray.
