How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6020246 / WPW10352582 Control Board

I replaced both the Control Panel and the Control Board. 

Replaced the control panel after viewing the videos and determining the cause of the problem. 

I watched the very helpful video and followed along. My biggest problem was finding a T15 driver, second biggest was juggling the front panel while starting the screws to reassemble. Everything works, maybe better than new and hopefully I won't need to reboot the machine every week any more. 

Changed out electrical control board. 

The control board was bad, I ordered a new one on a Wednesday, received the replacement on Friday morning and installed the new board. The dishwasher now operates like a new one. Installed a new control board, which fixed the problem. But in our case the control board was behind the front stainless steel trim panel of the door. And we needed torx screwdrivers of different sizes to remove the trim panel. Regarding repair difficulty, I'd say that in some cases (like ours) one would have to know a bit about appliances in order to attempt this himself. 

Replaced control board. So easy!!!!! After multiple attempts to find out what was wrong with dishwasher from 3 different repairmen, my husband decided to replace the control board. Works better than it ever did now and only cost 130.00!!! My dishwasher sells in stores for 1500.00. I was so pleased with the quick delivery and ease of ordering from appliance parts pros!!
