How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013336 / WP8564543 Electronic Control Board

Replaced the electronic control board and it now works perfectly. 

Following the online video which shows in detail, how to replace the main Electronics board, the swap out went real smooth with no hidden secrets. The video was straight forward and I was able to complete the sea process in 20 minutes. Results, happy wife, dishwasher back in operation. Thanks for the video instructions 

I researched the problem on the Internet and discovered that it probably was the electronic control board. The website for appliancepartspro.com made it easy to find the correct part which I ordered. I watched their video of replacing the board, then followed the instructions and replaced it myself ! My husband was amazed !! My dishwasher is now fully functional ! They informed me of the new updated part numbers and I ordered them. They came quickly by fedex. Had a question about replacement part design which was answered. Installed the parts and the dishwasher works once again. 

Called the help center. They diagnosed the problem. Ordered the board and watched the video. My dishwasher is a Kitchen-aid so it was a little different. Did not have the big black cover. There was an extra wire but the plug was there on the board. Whole repair took less than 15 minutes and everything is now working fine. Great service all the way through the process. 

Found Appliance Parts Pros and others had posted the same problem. Ordered the electronic control board and now the dishwasher is working. The video on Appliance Parts Pros website made the problem really easy to fix. 

Replaced the control board 

The control panel was bad. I took it out and found a scorch mark inside and bought a new one. It was not a hard fix. 

Contacted AppliancePartsPros.com with the problem. Was advised on how to gather an error code from the aborted cycle. With that information a representative advised me on what part to order. Part price was $30.00 higher on a $160.00 part but the advise was worth it. Saved a service call. Part has been installed a week ago and the dishwasher seems to be operating very well. The first time in eight years. 

Installed the Electronic control board and the thermal fuse and within two minutes, was washing dishes. The parts cost less than the service call for an on-site appliance repairman. The ability to return the part if the dishwasher was not fixed enabled me to feel comfortable guessing that the problem was the control board.
