How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010825 / WP74003020 Element, Bake

I pulled the heating element out of the oven. I did a You Tube search for Magic Chef electric oven repair. I then found the appropriate Appliance Parts Pro's instructional video which also gave me a link to your site. With the model number I ordered a new element. I received it within 2 days, installed and tested it. If I tallied the time from start to finish it may have been 20 minutes. 

I removed the failed element, researched where to purchase the part. Found it on AppliancePartsPros.com., at a reduced cost compared to Maytag with a 2 day delivery. The part was a like for like replacement and I had the oven back in operating order in a couple of days. 

I purchased a new one and installed it in less than ten minutes and i received my part in less than 24 hours it was amazing! 

Simple repair once the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Two screws removed, two connectors removed, a little trouble getting the connections on as the fit was tight. Quick test for heat with the power back on then power off, stuff the wires back into oven wall and we are baking again. Hats off to APP. I ordered on Weds before Thanksgiving and got that Friday...I could have been a real hero if I had thought to get to them a few days before...still semi hero status is good! Thanks APP 

Element was corroded in a spot. Ordered the wrong part the first time and reordered the correct part and received it the next day. Got it up and running and thankful we could find the part for this 1990's oven! Great service! 

So, I'm on the computer and my wife is screaming at me to come upstairs. She's looking at the bake element in the oven, which has a one-inch section glowing yellow. This is nothing new for this 28-year-old oven, so I shut off the breaker and ordered a new element from AppliancePartsPros.com. The part was in stock, and I chose UPS ground, so I was surprised when I checked the tracking and the part would be delivered the next day!. Installation is simple; remove two screws holding the element in, pull it out until you see the wires, disconnect the old element, plug in the new one, push it back in, and re-install the screws. The spade lug connections were a little tight, but you don't want this connection to come loose. 

Ordered a new element 

Called repairman said the burner was not available. Went online found the part number found the burner and installed it myself. The repair was simple and easy. I ordered parts got them in good shape installed and worked perfectly. I Will order from them again. 

Ordered element to fit my oven, and replaced it. When I called appliance places they were all booked up for several weeks and didn't have my part. I ordered the part from you and the next day it was shipped and the following day I got it. 

Replaced with a new element from AppliancePartsPros. Very easy to find the part with the model number. Easy to pop out and in by removing the two Phillips retaining screws.
