How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011444 / WP77001094 Oven Bake Element

Replaced the element. 

Typed in the model number on Google and selected appliance parts pro. They had the part, a new heating element . Said that the average delivery time was two days, so I ordered it and it was here the next day. Had no problems installing the new part. Now range works like new. I would highly recommend Appliance part pros to anyone. 

Replaced with new element. Removed the two screws holding element in place with a screwdriver, unplugged the two wires at base of element and removed, being careful to not let the two plugs go back into the back of range. Attached the two wires to the end of new element, put back into place and put screws back in...DONE ! 

Replaced the temperature sensor inside the oven and now purring like a kitten. Needed to remove sensor inside and rear panel to get at wire harness. Overall pretty easy. 

I removed the oven door by removing two screws, shut off the circuit breaker, unscrewed the element from the oven wall, withdrew the element to be able to disconnect the power leads, and then installed the new element and reassembled the oven. Easy. 

Ordered online from Appliance Parts Pros a new element which was in stock and received shipment in 3 days. Removed old element and installed new element in less than 15 minutes per Parts Appliance Pros video instructions which were simple and easy to follow. Good price, fast delivery, excellent service. 110% satisfied! 

All it took was a screw driver and took less than a minute to install.
