How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011444 / WP77001094 Oven Bake Element

Just like the video . 2 screws unplug each side , plug in new element. 

By replacing the heating element 

Shut off electricity 2 screws 2 plugs and fixed turn electricity back on and done! So happy my oven is back to normal. 

Replaced filaments 

Put on new connection 

Ordered the element from AppliancePartsPros. Received it in 5 days. Installed it and cleaned up the interior of the oven. Works like new and looks like new. The repair was very economical. 

Replace 

The hardest part of this project was getting out the old screws holding the element in. I had to use a cold chisel to hit around the edge of the screw because they were rusted in place and stripped. Other than that it simple, the old element unplugged-make sure you don’t drop the wires inside the oven wall-and the new element plugged in, problem solved. 

I watched your video on how to remove the old element and install the new one. It was simple but I did have quite a time getting the old element detached from the 2 connectors. Once that was accomplished it was a breeze. I did have to take the oven door off for easier access. I am a woman in my seventies and if I can do it anyone can! 

Removed to Plate Screws. Pulled out old element with attached wires then pulled off two push on terminals from old element. Installed New Element in reverse order.
