How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011444 / WP77001094 Oven Bake Element

First I took the old element with me to a local big box store that sells appliances. Surprised to find out they don't sell elements. I was given a card with a number to call and a web site where I could order my part. I found out pretty quickly that this web site didn't carry the element I needed. In searching the web, I came across AppliancePartsPros.com. Plugged in my information and YES, my element was available! And for a very attractive price! My next surprise was how quickly it was shipped! I got an e-mail just a few hours after ordering that it had been shipped. Fed Ex delivered it in 3 days (lost a day due to Thanksgiving). My husband installed it in less than 5 minutes. Just a matter of a couple of screws and turning the breaker back on. By the way, my electric range is 24 years old. Hoping this new element gives me another 24 years! Couldn't be happier! 

Your website was great. I ordered the part and it came in two days! My oven is back in service!! we unpluged the oven, unscrewed the old coil and replaced it and voila!! Done in 15 minutes and it only cost $35 dollars. 

Did not know that we could even find parts anymore for our old oven! Saved us from buying another oven! Website was easy to look up parts, parts were reasonably priced and service was fast! Thank you! 

Went on you tube and watched a representative from appliancepartspros.com change the element. the video gave me a link to the web site. the site gave directions on how to find the part for my appliance. 

Watched the video and followed instructions. Very simple even for this newbie. Just don't forget to unplug first. I did and I blew a fuse. 

I watched the video online at AppliancePartsPro.com. It reviewed clearly and concisely what to do and what to be careful of not doing. Ordering was easy. I needed the Make and Model and quickly found a list of parts. The part arrived quickly as scheduled and the repair was easily accomplished. The hardest part was reaching to the back of the oven to unscrew the plate as it was quite a stretch. Oven works great again. Heats fast. 

Replaced 

I ordered the element on a Thursday with a "two business day" delivery. So I expected to have to wait until Monday to get it. I was pleasantly surprised that FEDEX delivered it on Saturday and the oven was back in service in time for dinner. UPS would have waited until Monday unless a higher shipping rate was paid. The replacement was simple with only two screws and a couple of electrical connections to deal with. While I wasn't happy about needing to replace the element I couldn't have gotten it done faster any other way. Thank you for the good service. 

Ordered new elements to replace myself Due to age decided to do both at once 

I ordered a new heating element and oven light bulb for our Amanda range (10+ years old). The parts came the next day and now our oven works great! Would be happy to use this website again in the future!
