How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011444 / WP77001094 Oven Bake Element

My husband fixed it. By following the directions we got from the computer it was easy. 

I simply removed the old element by removing two screws and unhooking the electrical connections. Reinstalled the new element in reverse order and it was done. Note: Unplug your stove first to avoid fireworks. While entertaining for those watching, it could be hazardous to your health! 

We watched the video on AppliancePartsPros.com to learn how to replace the bake element. Following the directions in the video it turned out to be the easiest repair job we've ever done. It actually took longer to take the oven door off than it did to change the element. So glad we didn't call a repair man.
