How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011444 / WP77001094 Oven Bake Element

Took the other one out and replaced it with new part.. The service for getting the part was great..Service was fast...Thank you.

Replaced bake element and it worked. Your video instructions were a great help! 

*SAFETY* TURN YOUR BREAKER OFF TO YOUR STOVE FIRST BEFORE UNHOOKING WIRES TO ELEMENT!!! If you don't your wires will arc if they are touched to inner oven walls!!!! The first thing I did was take the old element out, to test if it was the element that was faulty or the control panel. *CAFEFUL TO CHECK THAT THE WIRES THAT ARE HOOKED TO ELEMENT ARE NOT BARE* turn your breaker switch back on. After hooking up my voltage meter and ohm meter up to the wires that hook to the element, I determined that it was the element that was faulty. *SHUT BREAKER BACK OFF* Order new element and installed it. TURN BREAKER BACK ON 

I put in a new one. 

Replace with a new one. Super easy. 

We ordered a new element from AppliancePartsPros.com which came in a few days and was in good condition. Removed and replaced the old element with the new. Oven works like new! 

Ordered a new one that came neatly packaged in just a few days. Followed instructions and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes.
