Since I didn't disassemble it, it was helpful to watch the video to see the steps. I just opened the box with the new part and swapped the parts as the video suggested. There were some screws missing which I pirated from the old unit and soon it was back together with the new heater tube. It was really pretty easy. I was pleased with the result the dryer runs fine now. New ones cost in the neighborhood of $900. That means a $750 savings. Besides, the older units were better built.
