How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011872 / WP8183202 Washer Door Hinge

Replaced it with a new hinge from Appliance Parts Pros!! 

Ordered a new latch by using the model number of the washer. Problem came when we realized the screw holes on the new latch were not threaded. We luckily have a local machine shop and he tapped the screw holes. This was very inconvenient, but it did eventually work out. I’m very happy with the final repair. 

I looked up, saw the video and ordered the part and was very happy with the whole process. The part was installed by me and everything works! 

Replace it with part purchased from your web sight 

Ordered a door hinge from you. 

Replaced the broken hinge with the new part.
