How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011872 / WP8183202 Washer Door Hinge

I immediately located the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I also did price comparison with other online sites. The price may have been a few dollars cheaper but the freight time was longer, and I really needed this to be fixed. I ordered the hinge from AppliancePartsPros.com and received it on the third day as promised. This part looked exactly like the one that was broken, the same details. My front load Whirlpool washer was up and running within 30 minutes. I am a happy customer from AppliancePartsPros.com, and will order from them in the future. I went online to Appliance Parts Pro and found the part. Placed the order on Sunday. Took off the door and hinge. On Tuesday morning the part came in via FedEx. Within five minutes I put the new hinge on the door and put the door back on the washer. Unbelievable and easy. A credit also to Whirlpool engineering and design. Jerry 

I googled to see how much it might cost to repair my Maytag washing machine and I found the site for Appliance Parts Pros. I put in my machine details and found the part I needed (easy). I then watched a DIY video on how to repair. It looked so easy, I thought, "I can do that!" So, I ordered the part, received it within a few days and installed the new hinge as per the video. I was so excited that I did not need to pay someone to fix something that I could do thanks to that video. This whole process was fast, easy and convenient! Replaced it with a new one from "AppliancePartsPros," with the excellent help of a video showing exactly how to do it! This would have taken me hours without the guidance - without which I might even have damaged the door in the process of removing the broken hinge! Oh! And thanks also for getting the replacement part to me so quickly. 

Just removed the door, layed on a flat surface, remove screws, installed new hinge and re-installed door to washing machine! 

It was very easy. Took a few screws out and removed the old hinge. The new hinge fit perfectly. I was done and back to washing clothes in 15 minutes. 

It was a very simple repair. We watched the video from Appliance Parts Pros and followed the directions. 

Went to You Tube to see how to replace the hinge for my specific clothes washer model. The video referred me to Appliance Parts Pros website to get a replacement hinge. I ordered and replaced the hinge without any problem and washer works as it should. 

Put new hinge on.
