How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011872 / WP8183202 Washer Door Hinge

First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for this GREAT site!?? Your graphics are amazing and easy to match up with the parts that are needed! I’m a widow and I’ve been doing a lot of home repairs on my own since my husband died...(my husband taught me well...thank goodness). Watched the great video from appliance parts pros, followed each step as instructed and I was able to complete repair on my own without a serviceman! Video detailed exact tool size needed, not a normal screw driver, purchased proper tool at hardware store $8 dollars.

First thing I did is to ignore my wife, who was insistent on me calling a repairman to fix the door, which would not open or close correctly.
