Tom S Fort Lauderdale , FL November 13, 2015 Appliance: Model KHMS155LSS-2 Burned out light bulb Light control in the off position, remove lens cover retaining screw (I used a small Phillips screwdriver) dropped the light fixture, (the wires allow about 6 inches of free play) disengaged the light socket to allow easy removal and replacement of the bulb, reinstalled the socket, turned on the switch to insure that the bulb illuminated and reinstalled the lens cover. I would advise using a tissue to handle the replacement bulb as oil from your fingers transferred to the bulb can shorten it's life span. Fredrick A Inman , SC May 24, 2020 Appliance: Model KBSU487TSS00 - KITCHENAID GRILL Rusted out burner and grill light bulb was blown out. I was able to fix the rusted out burner by taking out two screws to remove it. The new burner fit perfectly, replaced it and it fired right up. The bulb required taking out one small screw and the light cover came off. Removing the bulb required a very small screwdriver to loosen the bulb. I replaced the bulb and the light worked. Harry S La Crescenta , CA April 18, 2017 Small light on oven hood (uncommon size) burned out i knew i couldn't get a replacement in a hardware store because it was not a common size After looking at several web sites that carried parts for Kitchen Aid, I found the AppliancePartsPros web site. It was easy to navigate and I quickly located the lamp I thought I needed. (The old bulb did not have a part number on it.) Best of all there was a search window where by entering the model number of the appliance I could verify that I had chosen the right part. This was very important because owing to the small size of the bulb I couldn't be 100% sure from the picture that I had chosen the right bulb. The price and shipping were fair. My order arrived sooner than I expected. It was easy to reinstall the bulb. I was very impressed with the ease of use of the web site, the fact that the odd part I needed was in stock, and that the whole transaction went so well. I would highly recommend this company - and I do not make statements like that lightly. Thanks, folks! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
