My washer would fill and wash but would not drain or spin. I researched my problem online and after reading and watching a few videos I found the problem was the lid switch. Looked up repairs according to my model number (as near as possible), saw what I needed to do, so went about to find the part. Could have tried to get the part locally but the business lacks good customer service, you might get the right part or not, and NO REFUND PERIOD! Looked the part up online and found AppliancePartsPros had the part in stock. Did some research on them, was satisfied, and ordered the part. Good service, part was shipped same day as ordered. Couple of days later, the part was at my front door. I had already taken the old part out, compared it to the new part to be sure and went about doing the repair. Took a little longer since I did not have a nut driver (nut was slotted for screwdriver) but within an hour had the repair completed and everything back together. Tested the machine and it worked as it should. A little time, $40 part, saved me around $600-$800.
