Bob C Pahrump , NV April 08, 2017 Lid switch broke off the two mounting screws Replaced the lid switch following directions found on various web sites. I had little room to maneuver. No room in the back or sides to move the machine. 2 screws for the control assembly and the 2 large clips came out easily. I tilted the top and attached body to about 45 degrees forward and gained access to the switch. Took about 20 minutes to work out the logistics for getting the large main side and cover moved just because of my situation. The switch took about 10 minutes mainly because of the two small spring clips holding the switch wires were doing their job!. Read More... Also came with some simple basic directions and was a snap to fix. I have done other repairs on both this washer and my matching old dryer over the past few years and they just keep on going. I will again call on you for any of my appliance needs. It saved me a bunch of money by fixing many simple repairs myself, and you guys certainly helped me with that this time as well. And thanks for having the parts for my older stuff and making my purchase a breeze. Prompt shipping too... Read More... Daniel S Kirkwood , MO November 28, 2016 Was pretty sure of part i needed because washer would not spin or even empty Extremely helpful person on the phone steered me to the part picture and how- to video. I'm 82 and had never attempted a comparable repair. She even clarified how shipping would work over Thanksgiving. Kept the help video up on my computer and played it several times to understand the process. Look carefully though: the springs to reattach the console to the body look OK if you start backwards! One complaint: new screws to install new Lid Switch were NOT included. Glad I save the old ones and that size is not easy for me to find. Read More...
