How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013694 / WP9704230 Blender Drive Coupler

I took off the old blender drive usinga pair of pliers to hold the shaft while I unscrewed the drive coupler with my hands. To put the new one on I only used my hands and when I engaged the motor the coupler tightened itself. 

Ordered a new coupler. Watched the video on how to repair it. Got the coupler and repaired it. Easy Peazey. 

Watched the short video and learned that the coupling was attached with LH thread. That was the "secret". Ordered the part which literally arrived the next day. The actual repair took 5 minutes, most of which was teavel time to an from the garage to get and replace the couple of tools needed. I have a bookmark on this web site now. I will always go there first for parts. Good company, great service. 

I watched your video and then ordered the part I needed. I was amazed how quickly I got it. When the part arrived I fixed the blender in less than 2 minutes.

Purchased new coupler - I was afraid I'd have to get a whole new blender, but no, found the coupler part I needed. A little hard to remove the old one (I don't have that much strength in my hands) but with a little effort going around and around the old coupler with the screwdriver, I was able to pry it off. Snapping on the new one is easy. Works great again. 

I googled/you tubed around and learned that I needed a new blender coupler. I went on your site and learned how to remove the old blender coupler and put on a new one. 

I followed the instructions provided on AppliancePartsPros.com for this particular problem. I was so thankful that I did a Google search and found the part only cost me $4.95. I thought I was going to have to pitch my blender and fork out money for a new one :( . Luckily I was able to fix it myself (no man needed ;) . 

After watching the video I was able to remove and replace with new one. It was so easy to find what I needed on the website. Then they had the video. Also, I ordered on a Tuesday and received on a Friday, I was impressed with all areas of this site. Would recommend to anyone looking for a part.
