How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4135008 / D7824706Q Ice Maker

Ordered a new icemaker from another supplier - it wouldn't work, they sent me a new one - but it wouldn't work - I kept telling them their ice maker did not fit my refrigerator, and they were going to send me another one. I ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. and it worked the first time. 

Replaced with new ice maker. took less than 30 minutes. 

I did a little research with AppliancePartsPros.com. I then found the part I needed. I ordered the part and installed it when it arrived. The whole process was so simple, my only regret is that I took so long to fix it. 

Replaced the ice maker.It was so easy even a blind person can do it. And I did [It took longer to submit this comment than it did to replace the part. Cary D. 

I got the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. The video was exactly correct. Still not easy for an elderly stiff man BUT I DID IT. If a do over I would pay repair m. BUT I DID IT. A normal not old adult could do it in 30 minutes

You can't replace the tray because the heater has to be built in and that is eighty percent of the whole unit. And thanks to Kathy and AppliancePartsPros.com, I was able to replace for a better price and fantastic service. Thanks
