Replaced the ice maker per AppliancePartsPros.com video instructions. Perfect fit, excellent video. Took 10 minutes. 1/4" nutdriver and flat head screw driver. Couldn't have been simpler. I did switch the cover from the old ice maker to the new one, just to make it look nicer, and because the new part had come with the cover on upside down (just an assembly mistake).
Very proud of myself, I wondered why there was still no ice 18 hours later, though the instructions said it could take up to 24 hours for the ice maker to get cooled down enough to start making ice. Then I saw I'd left the refrigerator control turned OFF. Threw out the ruined food, and felt less proud. Full ice compartment 48 hours later.
