How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013682 / WP9703438 Dryer Drum Support Roller Retaining Ring

I replaced the front felt, both drum support rollers, the idler pulley, and drive belt. Two items that really weren't well covered in the videos are replacing the rear felt and the tumbler bearing kits. I found a how to for the bearing kits on YouTube. I put 2+ hours on the repair time as I didn't rush things. I was going back and forth from the utility room to the computer watching the videos. It wasn't difficult, just time consuming. 

Put I. A new motor. Belt, bearings, wheels. 

Replace gear drive 

Removed panels to assess what needed to be repaired or replaced. Used the diagrams, for my model of dryer found on AppliancePartsPros web site. All required parts were in stock. Once ordered, parts were shipped and I received them within a few days. All the parts were genuine, not cheap knock offs and the order was correct. Nothing missing or wrong. 

Lint buildup and humidity caused the rollers to rust to their axles, and stop turning. Disassembly of the dryer and replacement of the rollers was relatively easy and didn't take long. Appliancepartspros.com had helpful videos to show us how to do it, and having a phone with a camera to take pictures along the way made reassembly a snap. 

Replaced the blower wheel as instructed by how-to video and successfully resolved the issue. 

Using APPs videos and common sense. 

The blower wheel hub had worn through, and was shaking on the axle and hitting the sides. 

Ordered a replacement motor. Changed over wire connecters on a few terminals from 1/4" to 1/8". Instructions were very helpful. 

Replaced belt and one drum roller. Used the same parts ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com two previous times. 3 of four parts ordered had the same part number as previous orders. Ordered normal delivery but got the parts the next day.
