I replaced the Board-Phas and speed control plate since power was not making it to the motor. When I received the speed control plate it had nuts on the upper screws with springs, since my old one didn't have nuts I assumed that the nuts were to keep the springs on until installed. After putting it back together, I noticed that though it worked, the first two settings did nothing. Now, guys, I was desperate, OK. I downloaded the service manual and read it from front to back, and when I got to the part where you remove the speed control plate, it said to loosen the lock nuts, (lock nuts?). On the replacement speed control plate you require the nuts. I put the nuts on, adjusted the depth and we're golden.
Thanks for the parts and speedy service, Pat
