How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6019087 / WPW10300024 Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly

Had my appliance guy replace it 

Swapped the Ice Maker 

Researched Appliance Parts Pros website and called your tech help line and found I needed a new ice maker assy and not a dispenser display panel. Ordered the ice maker and it was delivered in two days. I watched your great video several more times, followed the instructions and completed the replacement. No problems. I plugged in the refrigerator, heard the ice maker tray fill with water and about two hours later heard ice cubes falling into the ice container. I am happy I could repair the refrigerator myself without an expensive service call.

Replaced ice maker Assembly. Upon in doing found the old assembly had two loose screws could been a cheap quick fix. Anyway it’s working and cheaper than calling the Maytag Man, who died about five years ago. Thank you Appliance Pro. 

Replaced ice maker. 

I found the heating element on my ice maker was burnt. I removed old ice maker per instructions, replaced with new and ice maker started working right away. One note if you are in a hurry, don't trust FedEx ground. Took 6 days to get a 2 day package. I know they are all busy but they are a mess. 

Ordered a new one and replaced it.
