How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012324 / WP8270182 Dishwasher Door Spring

I called the company and they ordered the right replacement parts. There was also an amazing video on the site that show me exactly how to install the new parts. I would highly recommend this company! 

I ordered the kit called the appliance repair guy to replace it. Easy as signing my credit card receipt for the repairman. Works like a charm.. :>) 

Pulled diswasher out and put on door balance kit and spring,hardest part of repair was getting sping in hole on back of bottom track because of room and was not able to pull dishwasher all the way out power supply wire not long enough and did not want to disconnect.Had to disconnect drain hose and water supply line no trouble to do this. 

Ordered a new spring, took two minutes to repair, 30 minutes to pull and put the dishwasher back in place. 

Purchased new springs plus pulley/rope mechanisms. Watched video, easy repair. Hardest part is getting dishwasher in and out of the hole in cabinet and remembering to hook everything back up!! 

Installed new balance link kit. The line was broken on one side and the pulley was broken on the other. Followed the instructions in the video on your website and fixed it right up. 

Replaced door balance link kit and springs 

Replaced the rollers (balancers?) and one string. Getting the water supply fitting off was a nightmare until I got the proper tool. There not was enough room to get an open end in and turn the fitting. Once I got the tool (open end that you can use with a ratchet). I live in Alaska and it took 3 weeks to get the parts via FedEx. I've had stuff shipped Parcel Post that got here faster. They could have shipped it in a small priority mail package. For 19.95 S/H I expected more.

Finding the repair part utilizing the Appliance Parts website was easy. The part arrived in one day. The instructional video made it possible for me to install the part without a glitch.
