How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011711 / WP8181651 Door Strike

Installed the new door handle and latch . 

I purchased a lock actuator through your website. Your website was extremely easy to navigate through, and the "how to repair video" that you had posted with a part made the repair extremely easy! Thanks so much, you saved me hundreds of dollars. ?? 

Very easy fix 2 star bit screws on door and part fit right in place 

I was able to replace the door strike with 2 screws! 

Ordered new parts from AppliancePartsPros at 10 am on Wednesday, they arrived on Thursday mid day. Replaced the parts and started laundry before we had dinner on Thursday. Great.

Located the correct parts using the online tools, shipped and installed using the online reference materials made available with my order, most difficult part, the Duo washer / dryer system we have is stacked, dryer on top of the washer and we had to unstack to access the assembly located behind the front panel, as best as it could possibly be. 

I did not want to have an appliance guy out to fix it. I thought it would be too expensive. So I "chatted" with appliance parts pro's. I told them what I was seeing as far as what was broken on my machine... they helped me find and order the right parts. I ordered Saturday afternoon, and the parts were there on Monday evening! Appliance pros had a step by step video on how to remove and replace the broken parts. My 8 year old son and I worked on the machine for about an hour and were successful in fixing it. Machine works like a charm. I think I could have repaired it faster, but I couldn't find my channel lock pliers. 

I watched about how to run diagnostic check and determined that it was the drain pump. Ordered drain pump and watched installation video that is provided. Very detailed and helpful video, did not have any problems and washer works like it is suppose to, if not better, because new drain pump seems to drain the clothes more. Thanks for the videos.
