Bought this new switch from APP's (fast shipping!) and replaced the switch. I did make a diagram to remind me of the wire colors as the wiring harness did not terminate with modern plastic plug. James B Salida , CO April 15, 2026 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Range WFE515S0EW0 The large element on the right front of the range would stick on high no error code appeared I installed the new Surface Element Switch after viewing You Tube videos showing the procedure. The shaft did need to be shortened for the knob. The repaired range was used later in the day with much applause from my wife for getting the big element back in service. We have used Whirlpool appliances since 1973 and have had very little trouble with any of them. Thank you. Read More...
