The timer dial was not advancing in any cycle it was set to.
I ordered the timer part specified by Appliance Parts Pros for my Kenmore dryer model.
I received it the next day! and replaced it in less than a 1/2 hour.
After unplugging it, I took the back of the control top off, pulled the knob off, and unscrewed the timer leaving the wires attached. I then connected the wires one-at-a-time to the new timer module.
I mounted the new timer with the original screws, put the knob on, and closed up the back of the control top... before plugging the dryer into 220 VAC. I ran a short timer setting to verify operation with a towel inside on low heat. The dryer worked great with the new part.
