How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013516 / WP8577356 Washer Cycle Timer

The video on AppliancePartsPros.com made the replacement of the Whirlpool washer timer super easy. 

Bought a timer from you but the timer would not allow the fill cycle. It was defective. Told you about the problem and you sent me another timer which took care of the problem. Saw how to diagnose and change the timer on your video. Very good service. I will always use your company. 

I took the dryer out of the closet so I’d have room to work, got on YouTube and watched a video then took my part out. Ordered a new timer, got it the next day and put it in. Easy peezy. But the opening for the dryer must’ve shrunk because when I went to put it back, I had to push extra hard on the door and the stopper poked a hole in the door 

Replaced timer. The first timer that was shipped was faulty but I called costumer service and they shipped me a new timer in two days. 

Replace timer. 

Installed a new one. 

Purchased new timer from Appliance Parts Pros and installed it according to video online.
