The door assembly was not the one that showed up in initial searches. I did however figure out how to take it apart:
1. Wedge out the plastic frame on the inside (similar to what I searched for, however it must be completely removed rather than simply pried back.)
2. Unscrew the metal heat-sync looking thing (2 screws on handle-side of door) and remove it.
3. Now that the two handle screws are exposed, unscrew the old handle and install the new handle.
