I inherited WFL2060UC in the apartment. I don't know how old the machine was. When I set up a cold wash cycle, it sounded like the machine kept trying to add water but sometimes it would not start its washing cycle. Also, there was ever water in the detergent box. When I set up a warm or hot wash cycle, the machine started fine, but it would stop in the middle of the rinse cycles.
I found that the problem was caused by a somewhat broken cold water inlet. The washer was trying to add water, but the cold water was getting into the machine way too slowly and the machine basically just gave up and paused when it took too long to add water.
After a new cold water inlet valve was added, all problems were solved. It was a very quick fix. The only difficult part was the diagnosis of the problem and taking the dryer off the washer.
