Secures the door boot seal to the washer front panel, preventing leaks. Replace if broken or when installing a new door seal for proper fit.
Fixing was easy and took approximately 1 hour. I have a Bosch Axxis washing machine and all parts came exactly as ordered and within 2 days of order. I had to take off front and top panel and the door switch. The new wire and spring was part of the order and I had to pay for it. The old parts looked fine to me and I could have reused them but since I had the new ones, I replaced them anyhow. I wish I would have the option to buy the rubber gasket only. Read more

Fix a washer that won't drain or hums during drain cycle. This drain pump removes water during wash cycles. DIY repair takes 20-90 minutes.
Replaced the drain pump assembly. Took about 90 minutes. Most difficult part was getting to the hoses and clamps in inside the machine at the bottom front. Just had to open the back panel and work inside. About the same difficulty as changing the radiator hoses on an automobile engine. Read more

Replacement door hinge for front-load washers. Supports door weight and enables smooth opening/closing. Replace if cracked, broken, or causing door sag.
After years of replacing the female electric latch switch that controlled the operation of the machine, I discovered that the window/door's handle's connection to its male latching hook had failed. The two were no longer interconnected. Also, the window/door's frame and hinge were materially "fatigued" meaning the hinge/body assembly was allowing the window/door to sag - causing the misaligned door/window to machine body electric latch switch to break when the window/door was closed. Bosch Axxis wasn't draining. Cleaned out filter and still didn't drain. There was also a whining noise when it was trying to drain. So I did some research and confirmed what I suspected. The drain pump had failed. Ordered a new pump and it arrived in two days. Replacement took a couple hours. Had to remove the back panel and front lower panel. Two hoses connected to the old pump had to be disconnected as did a power connection. Putting the new pump back in was just a matter of reconnecting... Read more

This valve magnet is the solenoid actuator used to open and close a dishwasher water/control valve, restoring proper water flow for filling and cycle operation. It replaces a failed or weak magnet to help the valve respond correctly. What it does:
The repair is easy. Two screws in the back hold the top cover - once they are off you need to slide the cover back and it comes off. The valve is right there where the cold water hose is connected. Disconnect the control wires / clamp and slide back the wire clamps / remove the two rubber hosed / remove the old valve (it is snapped in place - look at the new one to understand the snap mechanism) / install the new valve. The repair takes less than 10 min. I tested and sure enough... now it... Read more
